A company buys and sells business activities through the production of a good, present of a duty or retailing of already produced products. A business can be a for-profit or be a non-profit organization that operates to fulfil a charitable mission.

What about the term BUSINESSMAN? A person who is hired by an association or company. Businessman are often linked with white collar jobs. In order to avoid sexism or the maintenance of institutions, the term is often replaced with "business-person". The term "businesswoman" is less commonly used.
